@fethrybestduck’s talk about scared Fethry reminded me of this sketch I did a week ago or so. I can’t fall asleep so I went and redrew it digitally.

I loved the new episode!

Small theory, the reason this is the first time HDL have spoken in unison together is because Webby is the first friend they’ve shared.

They each have a different relationship with Donald, and Donald has been good about treating them as individuals. Each person they’ve had in their lives up to now, they’ve reacted to differently. But they’re on the same page in regards to Webby.

eyy! Last sketch for today!

For @miilkydayz @robinine-blog and @donaldtheduckdad ‘s fantastic “Lost daughter AU”. It’s up to the three of them what to do with her.

I kinda canon welded Dickie Duck to fit into the au. Also Dickie is such an unfortunate name but I had to roll with it :))

Out of the super limited choices, I picked Richardine for her full first name

@spacedpanini you are made of awesome, and I love her!

Why does every duck character has nephew and niece, really?

i-restuff:

well, the more family characters they made, the more stuff to explore and  create..

(i mean…we might probably never even see or know more about Donald sister ‘Della’ if Huey Dewey and Louie never Debut back in 30s)

Because if the audience doesn’t like the nephew or niece, they can be sent back to their parents and never appear again. If they have a son or daughter, the character looks like a terrible dad or mum if their child never appears again.

So nearly all the Disney maincast characters have nieces or nephews rather than children. I think Goofy and Max might be the only exception?

It’s Saturday! You know what that means! A new Ducktales ep! WOO-OO!

Before September ends, I’d like to showcase a little of my culture and my country’s retired written languange since it is “Buwan ng Wika”; my country’s month of celebrating Philippine Culture and Languange. (It does this neat trick of getting my nephews and other people interested in both Ducktales and Philippine History/Culture).

Obviously Webby and Lena are wearing modernized versions of traditional clothes (with Lena wearing a hybrid) and the baybayin are the closest estimation to their names I can translate (I.e. to spell Webby’s name in baybayin I had to divide it as “Weh”-“Bi”)

Fun fact: the Baybayin/Alibata used in Webby and Lena’s names are Pre-colonial while the ones on Scrooge and Donald’s are a Spanish hybrid

Please note that these are a few of many traditional costumes we wear. Maybe I should do more.

This is awesome
